Abstract
The present investigative work aims to propose an alternative curricular approach to the one proposed in the 2016 Curriculum and the Plan We Learn Together at Home. Due to the great challenges that occurred in virtual education due to the 2019 Covid pandemic in Ecuador. This new approach aims to promote a critical, reflective, emancipating, liberating education that starts from the experiences of each student, and can welcome their identity as Ecuadorians. For which, it was based on the Epistemology of “Sur de Sousa” (2011), a qualitative approach, descriptive study with an interpretive scope. In addition, as a design, we worked with the action research methodology and the study phases proposed by Elliot (1993). To obtain data that supports this research, observation, interviews and documentary review were used. In turn, observation guides and documentary review were used as instruments, which gave way to the design and planning of a didactic-curricular proposal, which was validated by expert criteria, and resulted in the development of practical approaches, critical and post-critical.
