Abstract
The objective of this Curricular Integration Work (ICT) is to develop comprehensive sexual education (ESI) in the sixth year of Secondary Basic Education through the Natural Sciences Curriculum. The theoretical bases of this work are based on comprehensive sexual education in childhood, comprehensive sexual education in the school context and CSE in the Ecuadorian educational context. The methodology of this research is based on the qualitative approach and action research (AI) involving its different phases: diagnosis, planning, intervention and reflection. The results indicate that topics related to sexuality are not discussed in the classroom or at home due to taboos and little teacher training. Furthermore, there is evidence of a scarce approach within the secondary sublevel educational curriculum on this topic. The development of the intervention proposal provided positive results, such as: improved self-esteem, greater understanding of issues of sexuality, consent and violence prevention. In addition, it serves as practical guidance for teachers interested in enriching the comprehensive education of infants.
