Abstract
This research focuses on enhancing the teaching-learning process of Natural Sciences in the fourth year of Basic General Education (EGB), specifically in block 3 "Matter and Energy", activities through experimental activities. The study is based on the need to establish a direct connection between theory and the real world, encouraging experimentation to achieve more significant learning. Methodologically, the Action Research approach was applied, using techniques and instruments with a qualitative and socio-critical approach to analyze the perspectives of students and teachers. The pedagogical approach considers the student as an active subject, promoting their direct participation in experiments and in the learning process. As results, specific problems in the teaching of Natural Sciences at this educational level were identified and a proposed solution based on scientific theory was developed. In conclusion, this research contributes to improving the relationship between students and the object of study, facilitating a deeper and more applied understanding of Natural Sciences concepts in real contexts.
