Abstract
This research arises from the context of pre-professional practices in the Herlinda Toral Educational Unit, in which shortcomings were identified in the learning of formulation and nomenclature of non-metallic oxides, due to limited didactics, lack of interest and non-attendance, among others. Thus, the project aims to analyze the effect of the use of playful strategies focused on meaningful learning about formulation and nomenclature of non-metallic oxides for students of Second "B" of BGU of the Herlinda Toral Educational Unit of the city of Cuenca. For the resolution of this problem, we propose the adaptation and application of ludic strategies through board games during 3 sessions. Likewise, for the evaluation of the results, we used participatory observation, content test (pre and post test) to obtain the Student's t-test, documentary analysis, and student satisfaction survey; having as main results the active participation, better academic performance, long-term learning, motivation and interest in learning, use of arguments and examples, among others. Finally, the research concludes by answering the 4 specific objectives, with the idea that the implementation of ludic strategies through board games enhances meaningful learning in students, generating motivation in relation to the subject of Chemistry, and long-term learning.
