Más allá de la pantalla” actividades pedagógicas para fomentar el aprendizaje vivencial en las aulas de Educación Inicial

Abstract

The present work gathers some of the experiences that occurred during the pre-professional practices of the ninth cycle, developed in the parallel 2-A of the Initial Education Center "Hernán Malo" (Cuenca), and part of the analysis of the audiovisual content exposed to children during the school day, research from which derived the subsequent reflections and actions. After detecting the interest shown by the children towards certain television personalities, it was proposed to carry out a series of pedagogical activities in which these characters appeared, in order to capture the attention and curiosity of the children, and encourage experiential learning. The research is approached from the qualitative paradigm, through the "action-research" methodology (Elliott, 1990). For its elaboration, evidence was collected through participant observation and annotations in the field diary. The project served to reflect on the consequences of the habitual use of screens at an early age, and also to point out the importance of carrying out activities that allow the children of Initial Education to have direct contact with the world through the experiential learning, with this it was obtained mainly to obtain the attention and the interest of the infants.
