Abstract
The present research aimed to strengthen reading comprehension in the area of language and literature of the students of the fourth year of education General basic of unit educational immaculate through the application of courseware JClic. It departed from a qualitative approach and action research was assumed as a method. The instruments used for the collection of information were newspapers of field, depth interview and a test. Data analysis was based on the method of triangulation of information. In the Diagnostics identified low levels of reading comprehension with regard to recognizing fundamental aspects of a text, such as secondary characters, the plot, the message Which resulted in the design of activities for the strengthening of the JClic software-based. After the implementation of such activities were achieved high levels of reading comprehension in the aforementioned aspects. The perception of students and teachers on these activities was satisfactory. Conclude that designed activities contributed to strengthen reading comprehension.
